This is a great place to live: Türkenstrasse, one of the most popular residential areas in the university quarter in the district of Maxvorstadt.

The district of Maxvorstadt is culturally and architecturally one of the most worth seeing districts of the state capital. Amongst other things, this is due to the three architectural highlights Königsplatz, Pinakotheken and the Siegestor. The quarter is ideal for students, as the two large universities Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) are located here. Numerous small stores, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs have been established here and provide a cosmopolitan, tolerant and culturally diverse lifestyle.
